Translucent jewel-toned glass is hand-painted and fired in a kiln, resulting in fun little mini stained glass panels. The panels are then foiled and soldered for a clean silver edge and drilled and strung with beautiful metallic silver beads that I had a friend pick up for me in Bali.
Brilliant colors in a sunny window; the longer strands are great hung over French doors and long patio windows. For maximum WOW hang multiple strands in one window--a virtual curtain of stained glass that gently sways in the breeze. (I discount for quantity purchases, btw...) Or hang them in your garden all summer--just be sure to bring them in when it starts to freeze.
My glass streamers come in various lengths, and I'd be happy to customize to any length of your choice. Streamers will be similar but may not be exactly the ones shown in these pictures; too many to photograph each individually.
About the streamers: each panel is individually hand cut freehand from stained or clear glass, hand painted, kiln fired, and then carefully drilled under water in order to hang. I use the same methods and materials that have been used in painted stained glass art for centuries, but with a modern twist!
