The turquoise blue of these leaves are transformed into a luminous sea blue green in the sun. Add the dyed red coral accent beads and the Santa Fe style silver metal beads and you've got a gorgeous and highly unusual leaf strand. I can't keep these in stock, and most of my clients are in the Midwest!
The line I use to string the leaves is a special black filament made especially for outdoor use. Strands can be used indoors or out, but I recommend you bring them in during the freezing months.
The strands come in various lengths, and I'd be happy to customize to any length of your choice. Strands will be similar but may not be exactly the ones shown in these pictures; too many to photograph each individually.
About the glass leaves: each leaf is individually hand cut freehand from delicately stained or clear glass, hand painted in layers, kiln fired, and then carefully drilled under water in order to hang. I use the same methods and materials that have been used in painted stained glass art for centuries, but with a modern twist!
