The deep rich colors of this fused glass panel are set off with painted black seams, brushed to blend in naturally. The paint is the same as used in church windows and is kiln fired to become one with the glass. Individually cut and painted glass leaves of the same glass dangle off the bottom of the panel. A black leather cord is used to hang the piece.
Measures 12" x 4" including leaves.
All of my glass art is cut freehand without patterns; every piece is unique. I use the same methods and materials that have been used by glass artists for centuries: the paint is powdered glass which, when kiln-fired becomes one with the glass beneath it. These pieces will last your lifetime. And more.
